How To Heal Someone With Your Mind

Dr. Joe Dispensa, the author of, Becoming Supernatural, is known to say, “When you change your energy, you change your life.” Yet, as Dispensa himself wonders, how many of us actually understand what this means? And perhaps more importantly, how can we use it to create change in our lives and the lives of others?

This could be no more relevant than when someone we know is suffering. So often we wish we could do more, and yet, what we seldom realize, is that we can. Here are three ways we can help heal someone with our mind.

Can the Mind Heal the Body? By Deepak Chopra – Closer To Truth

1. Connect Your Heart and Mind

In Dispensa’s work, he has shown that when we put more of our attention on energy, and less on the matter, we create unified changes in the brain. Moreover, when we connect this attention to our heart-centered emotions by sending healing thoughts, the intention becomes coherent – between what we want to happen, and where we place our energy.

Focusing our attention on energy – the energy we put out into the world and the energy that connects to those around us and the world as a whole – our brains begin to change. Our brain waves become more orderly – what Dispensa calls a “state of creation” – which then creates synchronized changes in our nervous systems.

Because our brains become entrained to energy, our hearts produce an external magnetic field that can draw things back to us in our lives.  Like sending a signal out into the world, we create a vibrational match between ourselves and the future we want to occur.

Adding to Dispensa’s work is the research done by Dr. Masaru Emoto, the Japanese scientist, and author of the New York Times Bestseller, The Hidden Messages in Water, who used water experiments to revolutionize the idea that our thoughts and intentions impact the physical realm. Studying the scientific evidence of how the molecular structure in water transforms when it is exposed to human words, thoughts, sounds, and intentions, Emoto demonstrated how water exposed to loving, benevolent, and compassionate human intention results in aesthetically pleasing physical molecular formations in the water.

Conversely, when water was exposed to fearful and discordant human intentions, the result was disconnected, disfigured, and “unpleasant” physical molecular formations.

Emoto’s work has made us question if we can affect water in such a powerful way simply by sending a compassionate and loving message to it, what can happen when we send these same messages to those around us? After all, people are mostly made of water.

The first step then is how to heal someone with your mind is to connect your energy and attention to the feelings in your heart. Then, send this energy to that person in the form of loving and compassionate thoughts.

2. Identify with Healing

One thing that energy work has consistently demonstrated is that what we pay attention to is what comes to exist for us. If we are constantly frustrated by a particular person, set of circumstances, or events, that becomes our reality and we experience more of it.

On the other hand, if we pay attention to the wonderful things in our lives, such as the people we love, the love that surrounds us, and the beautiful things that are available to us at any time, that is what exists for us.

This is what Dispensa calls, “getting beyond yourself.” He notes, “shifting your attention and energy to a world of frequency and energy, you lay down your identity.” In short, we become what we identify with, and from the moment we wake in the morning, that becomes our reality and our future. Everything we see reaffirms us of this reality.

So, the second step to heal with the mind is to pay attention to what is going well for them and identify with it. For example, if they appear more vibrant, notice this, look for more signs of it, and look for more signs of healing energy in the world around you. This is the process of identifying with healing.

3. Use Vibrational Energy

There is a field of pure energy, which exists beyond our senses. The universe is, in fact, vibrating, and exists of many vibrational energies. It has been demonstrated in many different experiments that vibrational energies align. Essentially, positive energies attract positive energies and negative energies attract negative energies.

Our thoughts are cosmic waves of energy that penetrate all time and space. The thought is the most potent vibration – so this means you can attract to you what you want and wish for.

All beings are made of energy, as is everything around us in the Universe. Energy shifts can occur outside of us – in the world we inhabit – and they can occur inside us – such as when we shift the energy we extend to the world around us. While we are not always aware of these energy shifts, we can learn to pay attention to them and use them to create healing around us.

The most powerful form of energy, and the most potent vibration, is thought. When we hold thoughts of anger, jealousy, or resentment, we put that energy out into the world and because vibrational energies align, this is also what we attract.

However, when we hold thoughts of love, compassion, and healing, and send love vibrations to someone we put that energy out into the world and that becomes what we attract.

So, the last step in healing with mind is to recognize that what we think, feel, or express creates vibrations that will manifest. To heal someone, we need to send the vibrational energy of healing out into the world, and out to them.

One example is when we use meditation to send positive energy to someone. When we do this, we create a magnetic force that draws out the healing energy that already exists within them.

There is a powerful energy that exists around us and within us. When we tap into this energy by connecting our hearts with our minds, identifying with healing and using vibrational energy, we can use this energy to understand how to heal those around us. Whether they are battling a life-threatening disease, healing from wounds, or healing from emotional damage, we can help in powerful ways that we might not yet be aware of.
